(The Munich Film Academy) and director's assistant at the
theatre Münchner Kammerspiele, especially to Dieter Dorn
and Peter Zadek, then freelance theatre director; 2001 till
2007 Casting Director at Anja Dihrberg Casting for such
artists as for Sönke Wortmann, Soren Kragh-Jacobsen, Wes
Andersen, Jaco van Dormael,and Hal Hartley ("Fay Grim").
Since 2008 "International Programmer"at the Munich Filmfestival.

American, born in Maryland, raised in Idaho, moved to
San Francisco in 1962. Active there in the 1960s music
scene as guitarist, singer and songwriter, performing folk
music, rock & roll, and, occasionally, classical. In 1976
he opened "Fantasy, Etc", a specialty science-fiction,
mystery and adventure bookshop which he ran for 25
years. Currently operating out of Brno / Czech Republic,
he is also European Film Programmer for Cinequest Film
Festival in San Jose California.



Kathrin Bessert

A jurist and qualified bank clerk, she has worked for
different theatre productions, in a law firm specializing
in stage law, and done project management for an artist
in Berlin. Working stay in Sydney / Australia, several trips
to Africa. From 2003-2005 she was Casting Assistant at
Anja Dihrberg Casting, and since Sept. 2005 assistant
director of the Kinofest Lünen.



Frédérique Desfossez

Born in the north of France. Moved from Paris to Berlin.
Becomes director of the Theater Tacheles and develops
dance theater festivals like „Solo“ with Sasha Waltz und Kitt Johnson. Works on several theater and film productions with
Dirk Cieslak „Lubricat“, Bettina Hoppe and Barbara Teufel.
Since 2003 a freelance filmmaker and fotografer. At present
she is working on the concept and developing of a Europeen Traveling Film Festival.


Ramin Ramezani

  Born in Teheran. Since 1985 has lived in Germany. He
studied visual design and worked as a communications
designer specializing in Corporate Identity and On Air
Design. Since 2001 he has been an electronic music
DJ and producer, and a freelance art director and sound
designer. Together with Constanze Witt he founded
“80gramm“, they developed a series of short animated
films for arte.

  Since 1985 concerned with press and public relations,
assistant at the International Short Film Festival Ober-
hausen, MEDIA Desk Germany (European Commission),
and at the independent film production company zero
film. In 2004 he founded the public relations agency
Jelly Press, working for movie members filmproduction
("GG 19"), Labyrinth Kindermuseum Berlin, Verband
der Agenturen, Bundesverband Casting and the Babylon
Mitte cinema.

  Apprenticed as photographer, studied Media with
main focus on film economy and history, experience in
film production as unit manager for international TV and
movie productions. In 2002 she was involved with the
foundation and general management of "NaturVision",
the first nature and wildlife filmfestival in Germany.
In 1998 she worked for the „Berlin & Beyond“ Film Fest-
ival in San Francisco. Since 2004 she has been solely
responsible for their film traffic.

since 1988 done programming, in several computer lang-
uages. In 2000 he founded framepage.de (internet pages
for small businesses), 2002 started commpage.de which
does electronic tele-communication data processing and
internet consulting, currently serving about 120 small
business clients and programming of internet pages. In
2006 cp-dent.de (specific for dentists).

  Julia - Rosa Stoeckl grew up in the Ziller Valley, located in the Austrian Alps. After high-school she attended her first acting classes and worked as a PA for the Warner Bros Production
"V for Vendetta" in Berlin. In 2005 she played her first main
part in the Austrian feature film "Dead in 3 days", which was
sold worldwide in 36 countries and which got her a nomination for the Undine Awards. Further she starred in numerous productions for film and television (including "Das Jüngste Gericht" starring Waltz and Moretti, "Blue Moon Down", "Winzerkönig", etc.). At theatres she was seen at the State Theatre Innsbruck, Theatre Akzent Vienna and at numerous international theatre festivals a.o.

  Born and raised in Heilbronn. First she focused on music and had several engagements as a singer, e.g. at the Theaterschiff Heilbronn. Then she studied Rhetoric, Business Studies and French Literature in Tübingen and Lyon. Completed different internships in Public Relations, e.g. at the Ravensburger Buchverlag, the University Hospital in Tübingen and the ZOOM Medienfabrik in Berlin.
